Yikes, it's already April and I haven't even done anything for March yet other than put up the Easter candy poll. I'm hoping that the Easter bunny puts a whole bunch of these chicks in my basket!We've already tested out some new techniques for our Easter eggs this year - that's the great thing about doing this page - we're getting to do some of the fun stuff twice every year! Here are some of the eggs we colored. We tried a marbeling technique with a few drops of vegetable oil in the dye and also tried some striping effects with rubber bands (you get extra points if you actually get the rubber band to go where you want it on the egg).

Cookie Monster Cupcakes
The other activity we tried in March was matching these Cookie Monster cupcakes. My work "neighbor" Tami found the picture online but no directions, so we decided to see if we could duplicate them.

Well, March flew by and I think April may move just as quickly - the end of the school year always seems to go by pretty quickly. Hopefully everyone has enjoyed a nice spring break or is looking forward to one and, if you're lucky, next week the Easter bunny will be hopping by and leaving you lots of these guys!
